Saint Mary's College of California: Education & Inspiration

Set amidst rolling hills and the redwood forest, just 20 miles east of San Francisco, is one of the oldest colleges on the west coast. Spanning 420 acres of rolling hills in Walnut Creek, Saint Mary's College is the largest Catholic institute of higher learning dedicated exclusively to teaching. Combined with a liberal arts tradition, they offer advanced studies in over 30 majors with four schools of study, athletics, and state-of-the-art classrooms. With more than 200 world-renowned professors and 2,700 undergraduates, St. Mary's continues to inspire. Marked by a stately chapel and fragrant pines, this college campus is filled with impressive architecture and landscaping. The campus also includes the Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center with an 8,000 square-foot fitness center, rock climbing wall, three full-size courts for indoor intramural sports, and an aquatics center with a recreational pool.
